Cheatgrass — After The End. Cheatgrass refers both to the last photograph made for The Evening Pink, and the related 16mm film. Note: the depicted words — “The End” — are real. The 10x30’ letters were assembled and installed on the site of a burnt ranch and active 40,000-acre fire south of Pyramid Lake, Nevada. July 2018.

Note: this site was coincidentally the set of the 1961 film, The Misfits.
